Twilight

Dream,
dreamers,
Under the stars at night,
On the boardwalk,
At the beach
(I forget the name of the beach).
I play my flute and watch the waves roll in.
Temptation comes over me,
For there is a woman next to me.
She has some wine and some cheeze.
Twilight, in a dream of making love,
The dream of a dream-maker.
Possessing the cascading waves,
My eyes staring at her form,
As the water bubbled upon the beach.
You know all dreams don't always come true,
But this dream-dreamer, named James,
Had no idea he would be at the beach at twilight,
With this succulent Black woman.
So you see, try to be a dream-maker,
And create dreams at the twilight.
