The CCPA Education Project

8 December 1997

The CCPA Education Project will provide subscribers with a detailed analysis of both the legislative and financial restructuring of--and the increasing corporate involvement in--publicly-funded education.

The CCPA Education Project will produce an annual report detailing corporate influence in Canadian schools, an intrusion facilitated by the massive funding cuts inflicted on public education in recent years.

In addition to this annual report, the CCPA Education Project will provide a series of bi-monthly updates examining specific instances of corporate involvement, case studies and community reaction, as well as reports on current events of interest to educators, parents and students.

Up to now, no organization in Canada has been monitoring corporate forces, which have both the intent and ability to change education on a global scale. The CCPA Education Project will be providing a necessary service to all who have a stake in the institution of public education.

This service will cost $500 annually (monthly payments are available).
