Sanxingdui civilization is probably a mixed civilization

Guangming Daily, 1 December 2000, a01

The director of the Sichuan Provincial Archeological Institute says unearthed relics from Sanxingdui bear great similarities to civilizations from other continents. The Sanxingdui people were probably not Asian as facial features of unearthed bronze figures resemble non-Asians. Since the discovery of Sanxingdui in 1921, Sanxingdui has been confirmed as the site of the center of the ancient Shu Kingdom. The ancient Shu Kingdom's history dates back 5,000 years. This means the Yangtze River and the Yellow River are the both the birthplace of Chinese civilization.
