    - Anti-War Workers, Teachers Make
      Threats

	    2003. The two umbrella labor unions and the left-wing
	    teachers’ union strengthened their anti-war
	    efforts. The KCFTU, the more activist of the two, will
	    target for defeat in next year’s elections
	    representatives who vote in favor of sending noncombatant
	    troops to Iraq.
- Anti-war rallies intensify as subway joins
      the fray

	    2003. Student councils said they would stage an anti-war
	    protest. The labor union of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway
	    said it will strike if the government decides to send
	    Korean troops to Iraq. This would mark the first strike by
	    the subway labor union against a governmental decision not
	    related to the union.
- Violent clashes in Seoul over Iraq
- CNN.com, Wednesday 29 October 2003. About 1,000 South
	    Korean workers clashed with riot police on Wednesday
	    following a protest rally against a government decision to
	    send additional troops to Iraq.
