Ancient Human Remains Found in Florida
Los Angeles Times, 4 July 2001. Archaeologists say they have found human remains up to 2,500 years old in a downtown city park near a mysterious stone circle believed to have been used as a trading post by Tequesta Indians.
Regarding our ancestral bones in Florida
A dialog from the Taino-L, July 2001. Excavations at the Miami Circle have undearthed the bones of settlers fromt the Caribbean that date from 500 B.C. to 500 A.D. These settlers eventually mingled with the emergent Seminole people in the 19th century. So are the bones Tekesta Taino or are they Seminole?
